With the recent arrival of Izard Pacific Aviation's King Air C90 ZK-ZZA (ex N90NZ), it seems likely the departure from Kerikeri for Norfolk Island on 16 July of their Gippsland GA8 Airvan ZK-TZT should not come as a surprise and is most likely on export. It flew onto Lord Howe Island and Coolangatta 17 July.
ZK-TZT arrived in New Zealand on 02 January 2004 marked as VH-BQR and flew from the manufacturer's Latrobe Valley Airport, Victoria direct to Wellington where it cleared formalities before crossing Cook Strait to Omaka for the application of its Sounds Air livery and NZ markings of ZK-KLC to which it was registered 15 January 2004.
During the third quarter of 2008 Sounds Air and Izard Pacific traded aircraft with the latter's Cessna 208 Caravan ZK-TZR moving to Sounds Air and Airvan ZK-KLC moving to Izard's and became ZK-TZT.
